On June 30th I co-hosted a webinar with Beatrice Stein for a chat about service in the time of COVID-19. We were joined by Joann Makovitzky, a restaurateur in NYC and CT, who brought real life examples to our topic about how to maximize hospitality while working within the new constraints (masks and gloves). We walked through a number of aspects of hospitality including comfort & perception, setting expectations and team training and fielded questions posed by our audience of operators, HR professionals and hospitality leaders.
